OUR STORY
Once upon an intern summer, Danny and Ali casually met through mutual friends. Unlike the clichés, it was not love at first sight. (Don’t believe Danny when he tells you that he was “playing the long-term game.”)
Since their paths didn’t cross often, Danny was surprised to be invited to Ali’s lake house with a group of friends. Danny said yes and spent the weekend partaking in various water sports, sailing with Tony, and enjoying crawfish. He had fallen in love….. with the lake.
Ali & Danny instantaneously shared a deep love of laughter, family & friends, and all things lake life. Fast forward through their senior years/graduations at rival colleges, Danny moved back to NYC and immediately settled back into their friend group from the prior summer. Still living in Austin, Ali had so much FOMO that she decided to move to the city.
Once permanently in the same city, their friendship continued to grow. The two spent time together, and after almost two years of friendship, Danny asked Ali out. And, in his words, “Ali just couldn’t resist.” (sure, sure, sure…).
While Ali might not agree with this exact narrative, it was clear that Danny had finally escaped the “friend zone.”
They spent the next 4 years falling in love, spending time with each other’s families, traveling abroad, road-tripping the country, hosting parties, and creating a life together. Until, one enchanted afternoon, back at the lake, Danny got on one knee, Ali said …….“FINALLY,” and they danced the night away with their families.
Ali & Danny cherish togetherness and they can’t wait for the magic of laughing, eating, and dancing with their favorite people as they celebrate the beginning of their happily ever after.
